Every VYRRA garment carries a permanent care label in English, in line with the Australian
Consumer Goods (Care Labelling) Information Standard and AS/NZS 1957. Care symbols are a
supplement only — the written instructions govern.
Reading your care label
A complete Australian care instruction tells you, in order: washing method and temperature,
bleach, drying, wringing, ironing, and dry-cleaning. If an instruction is missing, do not assume
it is safe — ask us.
General care by fabric
- Cotton jersey & fleece (tees, sweats, hoodies) — Machine wash cold or
warm (30–40°C) with like colours. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or line dry in shade. Warm iron
if needed, inside out over prints. - Woven cotton (overshirts, chinos, wide trousers) — Machine wash cold on a
gentle cycle. Line dry. Warm iron. - Denim — Wash as little as possible, inside out, cold. Line dry in shade to
preserve wash tone. - Linen — Machine wash cold, gentle. Line dry. Iron damp for a crisp finish or
wear un-ironed for a relaxed one. - Wool knitwear — Hand wash cool or dry-clean. Dry flat in shade, never on a
hanger. Cool iron with a cloth between. - Nylon track jackets & quilted vests — Machine wash cold, gentle. Do not
bleach or iron. Line dry.
Footwear
- Leather & suede — Brush off dust after wear. Suede: use a soft brush;
treat stains with a suede eraser. Leather: wipe with a damp cloth and condition occasionally.
Keep away from direct heat. - Mesh & knit runners — Surface-clean with mild soap and a soft brush.
Air dry only, away from sun and heaters. Never machine-wash or tumble-dry. - Laces & insoles — Remove and hand-wash separately, air dry.
Storage
Store knitwear folded, not hung. Let footwear rest 24 hours between wears and use shoe trees
where possible. Keep everything out of prolonged direct sunlight — Australian UV is harder on
dyes than anywhere else.
